You have never seen anything like Things. That is the nicest thing I can say about this epic Canadian disaster; a movie so baffling in its ineptitude that its creators were at a loss to title it. I would never profess to liking this movie, but I am so glad that I saw it. If you never challenge your lowest expectations, you can't really appreciate how good or bad a movie can truly be. Thanks to Severin films for releasing this oddity.

 This shot-on-camcorder, direct-to-video horror film is the first fruit bore of the wonderfully unholy union of Severin Films and Intervision Picture Corp. This film was largely, and in many ways thankfully, forgotten for many years and the DVD comes loaded with more special features than anyone would have ever thought to give this awesomely terrible mistake. Birdemic: Shock and Terror (2008)

Not since Plan 9 From Outer Space has a film this inept fostered such instant endearment. It has been ages so I laughed this hard while watching a film. Movies like this are the antidote to cinematic pretension and that is why I love them so much.
