To say this movie is not in my wheelhouse is a chicken a la king-sized understatement. But I found it to be impossibly charming and, considering it's about a girl whose hobby turns into a writing career, personally relevant. I do think the ending is flubbed by the introduction of a needless major conflict that is then never resolved or even mentioned a second time. But other than that, greatly enjoyed Julie & Julia...my man card is in the mail.
